About The Host:
Jeff Walker is a frequent visitor to the Las Vegas area, travelling to the city upwards of 8 times per year. In that time, he’s become friends with many of the local residents who are involved in the entertainment & hospitality industries and has gotten to know the city of Las Vegas extremely well, exploring more than just the tourist areas as well as keeping up with local news & events.
Jeff spent close to 20 years in the terrestrial radio business, working in both medium & major markets across Canada including Winnipeg, Vancouver, Regina, Edmonton & Calgary. He’s done everything from hanging banner & running cable for remote broadcasts to hosting a major-market Afternoon Drive show and managing the Music Department. In January of 2015, the station Jeff was working at “decided to go in a different direction” and he found himself out of work. At that time, Jeff made the jump into the podcast & online radio world.
In addition to hosting Jeff Does Vegas, Jeff is the Owner & Chief Content Creator for Walker New Media.
